The first three seasons of the show were broadcasted on Star Plus from 2000 to 2007, after that it has been broadcasted on Sony Entertainment Television since 2010. The format is the same as other Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, Winners of Kon Banega Carorepati Season 13 must select the correct answers to multiple-choice questions to win progressively higher amounts of money, with the top reward being one crore (ten million) Indian rupees. Season 13 of KBC, was premiered on August 23, 2021, and ran for about 4 months. Every day it used to air from Monday to Friday at 9:00 PM IST on Sony Entertainment Television. After almost four months, KBC 13 is coming to an end on Friday. Big B hosted the finale episode with special guests. The Shaandaar Shukriya episode saw the cricketers dancing with Big B, playing cricket with the legendary actor, and obviously, answering some interesting questions.

The 13th season saw many contestants taking home lakhs and thousands of rupees. It got three crorepatis — Himani Bundela, Sahil Ahirwar, and Geeta Singh Gaur.

About Himani Bundela

Himani Bundela is 25 years old visually impaired contestant. She is an Agra-based math instructor. She answered several questions after being chosen by the host of the program for the hot seat. Himani left the game but received a monetary award of Rs 1 crore after answering incorrectly a question valued at Rs 7 crore. She thanked the host profusely at the end of the broadcast and stated that she intended to utilize the funds to start a special coaching facility for children with disabilities.

About Sahil Ahirwar

After Himani Bundela, Sahil Aharwar, a 19-year-old college student from Madhya Pradesh, was named the second crorepati of KBC 13. The young man is preparing to pass the UPSC exam and hopes that being an IAS officer will enable him to alter the world. Sahil wants to buy his mother a home in Chattarpur with the prize money from KBC, give his younger brother a cricket set, support his father financially, and also give something to his high school.

About Geeta Singh Gaur

Geeta became the 3rd Crorepati of KBC 13 after Himani Bundela and Sahil Ahirwar. The 53-year-old, home-maker from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh took home Rs 1 crore with the aim of living her second innings to the fullest and proving that women can be much more than just being homemakers. The question for Rs. 7 crores stumped her, after which she quit the show as she was not sure of her answer.
